Title: Nursery and Childcare Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Religious Education
Part-Time
two hours each Sunday
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Mindful of the program goals of Lifespan Faith Development at Williamsburg Unitarian Universalists, we seek a candidate for the part-time role of Nursery Coordinator.
Successful candidates will demonstrate
- Integrity and ability to satisfactorily pass a background check
Essential functions
- Reliably prepare for and lead nursery care for second service (currently 11:15 AM) and childcare for occasional other events
- Orient and schedule WUU childcare workers
- Recruit and train additional childcare workers as needed
- Create and maintain safe atmosphere for nursery aged children
- Work with DRE to coordinate logistics and workflow

- Has positive attitude
- Desire to build relationships with parents and children
- Respect for Unitarian Universalist principles, support of the WUU mission, and willingness to enter into a covenantal relationship with other staff members
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of Unitarian Universalism a plus
Rate of pay:
$16 per hour, two hours each Sunday
Reports to Director of Religious Education.
