“No Jacket Required” by Tues Night Men’s Covenant Group

—Come find out what happens when a group of men disrobe spiritually.
These men belong to the Tuesday night men’s covenant group. It began last fall, after an initial round of registrations, in which 30 congregants signed up –almost all women. So we invited WUU men to form men’s covenant groups. About 20 men signed up.
For 50 people to join covenant groups in the very first year of the program is remarkable. For these men to take leadership in a worship service is even more remarkable. I know what they will share with you will completely outclass a minister’s efforts to describe it. Their experience has been most unusual, but there is nothing unusual about them as people: everyone is “qualified” to have the shift they have had in how they feel about themselves and about the spiritual dimension of their lives.
