Save the date! The 5th Annual Hampton Roads Solar Tour is Saturday October 5, 10 am to 4 pm. On the Middle Peninsula there will be five homes to tour, and the methane gas conversion plant at Waste Management will offer guided tours. All area tours are on the same day this year.
Links to the individual tours and registration are on this page. The tours are FREE, but you must register to receive the addresses of the tour homes. This is an educational self-guided tour for anyone interested in how other homeowners have used solar and green technology in their homes–new construction and retrofitted.
This is the second year that the Middle Peninsula will be on the tour and we are hoping for a good turnout of interested folks!
