Visioning Circles

This month we hope to do some of the most important work that you will participate in as part of WUU. We will take time to stop and listen carefully to each other, reflecting on what it was that called each of us to WUU, and sharing our dreams of what we hope to do together.

It’s been a very difficult two years with the ongoing pandemic, isolation, loss and exhaustion. We are facing huge shifts in our culture and world community, and it seems that the foundations and assumptions we have always counted on may not continue. This is the time for us to ask: how are people doing? How do our principles and spiritual foundation guide us in charting a path forward? What do our members deeply need our spiritual home to provide?

What is the role of our congregation during these very challenging times? What initiatives, new structures, communication and interactive strategies are needed to attend to and care for one another so that we, in turn, can care for others?

Visioning Circles are your opportunity to share your thoughts and to hear from others. We hope that everyone will be able to attend a Visioning Circle either in person at WUU or virtually with Zoom. Each circle will have 5-8 participants and we will start with a week of in-person circles held at WUU. All participants are required to be masked, socially distanced, and vaccinated for these circles at WUU. The following week we will hold virtual circles on Zoom.
