The Auction website will soon be open to accept item donations. Today, I want to clarify what types of physical items may be donated. Please remember, we are NOT housing donated items at the WUU as we are not having a silent auction, and we just don’t have the space. If you wish to donate a physical item it must meet these qualifications:
- It is valuable.
- It is clean.
- No chips or dings.
- In excellent, like new, working order.
In addition please:
- Submit a nice, clear photo of your item for the catalog.
- Keep your item at home.
You will be able to enter your item information, and upload a photo, on the website yourself, or you may fill out a form that you can pick up at the Auction information kiosk, or on Sunday mornings at our information table Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30. If you fill out the form manually, you may email your item photo to Auction@wuu.org. Please turn in your completed form at the Auction information table. Please be advised that our committee will make the ultimate decision regarding your item’s submission to the Auction. When the Auction ends you will be notified by Auctria regarding the winning bidder and how to communicate with them. You will contact the winning bidder to negotiate where and when you will exchange the item. If you wish to use a neutral location the WUU is a logical spot! If you have questions about the suitability of your item please email Katrina Landon at Auction@wuu.org. The last day you may submit an item for the Auction will be October 30th.
