“Losing Life: Finding Life” By Rev. David Tetrault
Three of the gospel writers overheard and remembered the same piece of Jesus wisdom: if we lose our lives we find our lives. Religion often sees passages like this as an opportunity to champion high moral imperatives. “Here, folks, have some more guilt.” Nope. Maybe we need to turn a saying like that upside down and inside out. Maybe we need to remember that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and not the other way around.
