I am delighted to be serving WUU as Board President beginning May 1 with my vice-presidential partner Deb Fabian, new members Eva Burke and Linda Cole, and continuing members Les Solomon, Secretary; Franz Gross, Finance Committee chair; and board members Linda Lane-Hamilton, Phoebe Kent, and Angela Surber.
Together we will prepare for our next transition from Interim Minister Rev. Michelle to a Developmental Minister in 2025. We will be counting on the congregation to voice your ideas and dreams regarding our future and choosing the minister to inspire us. We are always better when all of us participate!
Last year’s board has left us with a well-organized to-do list as well as an amazing list of accomplishments. I would like to personally thank Co-presidents Linda Lane-Hamilton and Pat Russo, and outgoing members Melissa Stump, Kerry Mellette, and Katrina Landon for their leadership that left WUU in great shape for the coming year. I am grateful for the experienced board members who will bring continuity and wisdom to the new board. I would also like to thank the Annual Giving Committee for a successful pledge drive that will allow us to continue creating our Beloved Community.
I encourage you to consider attending the all-virtual General Assembly June 20-23. Attending sessions in your PJs is a real treat!

This will be an exciting year of creating aspirational, but realistic goals that will allow WUU to continue being a spiritual home for all.
