Notice of Congregational Meeting
Date: Sunday, January 17, 2016
Time: 10:30 to 11:00 am (between the services)
Purpose: Elect members to Board and Congregational Committees
Receive information about selection of Ministerial Search Committee
Positions to be filled:
- 3 3-year terms on the Board (nominees: Les Solomon, Nan Hart, Franz Gross)
- 1 2-year term on the Board to fulfill an unexpired term (nominee TBD)
- 1 3-year term on the Committee for Right Relations (nominee: Rachel Delbos)
- 1 5-year term on the Endowment Committee (nominee: Paul Luchsinger)
- 1 3-year term on the Nominating Committee (nominee: Jane Reilly)
- 1 1-year term on the Nominating Committee to fill an unexpired term (nominee: Linda Lane-Hamilton)
If you have signed the membership book and made a financial pledge to WUU’s 2015-16 fiscal year’s operating expenses, you are a voting member and thus eligible to participate in the election of people to these positions. Your presence at this meeting is needed, not only for the election, but also to hear and discuss the procedures for the selection of the Ministerial Search Committee members.
Please plan to stay late if you attend the early service or come earlier if you plan to attend the second service. Member registration and ballot distribution will be available between 9:00 and 10:30 am. Child care will be provided.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, absentee ballots will be available beginning the first week of January by contacting the WUU office. All absentee ballots must be returned by Friday, January 15th.
