Franz Gross will enlighten us on “Hunting for Quarks: Tales from the Jefferson Labs”. What are the properties of quarks (the tiny particles that make up all matter) and how are they studied at Jefferson Laboratory (which was built specifically for this purpose)? The presenter will use lots of pictures and wave his hands frequently.

Cost is $18 for drop-ins.

Franz Gross is a retired Professor of Physics at William & Mary Universtiy, and Principal Scientist at Jefferson Lab.
