We light our chalice this morning:

— light of our Creative Spirits

— light of our Wondering and Curious Minds
— light of Love for this place, this people, this work

Illuminate our hearts and the spaces between them in this Sacred Time of unfolding.

Sharing Our Gifts
Online Giving
Text-to-Give: 757-500-0688
In-Person Giving: Place offerings in the collection plates as they’re passed during the service.

Twice a month we Share the Plate with local or nonprofit human service organizations that provide a much-needed service to our community. It offers us an opportunity to extend our compassion to others in need. This week, your contributions will go to Pink Haven Coalition, a collective of organizations and individuals who are committed to trans liberation and to growing community defense, mutual-aid, and alternative systems of care for gender diverse people. It is a trans-led accompaniment project supported by the UUSC, UUA, and UU congregations around the country that helps transgender individuals and their families move from unsafe states to safer states. All donations move directly into the hands of trans-led organizers to support trans and non-binary people in accessing the resources and support they need to survive and thrive. Learn more at pinkhaven.org. Thank you so much for your generosity.

Extinguishing the Chalice
Susan Fournier

As we extinguish the flame on our chalice, we ignite it inside ourselves.
Our commitment to our mission and to one another is an unquenchable flame.
Let us remember that we are not alone until we light this flame next time.
