The “Time, Treasure, Talent” online Auction is well on its way to becoming a big success! Please get in on the bidding as you only have a couple of days left at auctria.events/WUUFall2022. Don’t forget to bid on our “fixed price” events (found under the category “Events” (Adult or All-Ages)) such as “Ladies Night Out,” “Chili Jigsaw Puzzle Competition and Bunco Night,” “A Traditional English Christmas Party,” “A Mad Hatter Tea Party,” “Bird Walk at Bethel Beach,” nutrition and gift making classes, and several bike rides! Most dinners can be found in the “Events” (Adult) category as well. The Newport, RI, condo starting price is now $600. After the Auction ends, Auctria will send you notification of items won, and your outstanding balance you need to take care of through the website. When prompted, please consider paying the processing cost of using your debit or credit card. I will receive a winning bidder report, and donors will also receive the same information for their donated items. I will alert donors if there are any winning bidders who have not yet paid for their winning bids. We are allowing everyone 72 hours to complete their payment, or the next highest bidder will be notified that they are eligible for the item, so please do not make arrangements to exchange physical items prior to Wednesday, Nov. 16, without checking with me. Everyone, thank you for taking the plunge and trying out this new way to do an Auction. I have even more ideas as to how to use Auctria for future fundraisers, but for now, I’m going to take a long winter’s nap after I complete this Auction. Don’t forget our celebration after service this Sunday as everyone is invited, but for now: BID! BID! BID!
