Doug Hansen is a husband, father of two and grandfather of four. He made his way through life as an electrical engineer, systems designer, project engineer and manager until giving it all up for the sea. Upon retirement he and his wife Helen moved aboard a boat and traveled the east coast and Bahamas following the seasons. He and Helen have now paused in Williamsburg, for the past nine years, to enjoy this community and their new friends and family.
