Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 5:00 pm: “Winter Solstice Gathering”
On this Winter Solstice when darkness blankets the Northern Hemisphere, we come together to acknowledge the magic of the night and to help turn the great wheel of the year toward the light that is surely ahead.
5:00 pm Drum Gathering, 5:30 pm Indoor Candlelight Chanting and Meditation followed by outdoor Candlelight Labyrinth, Yule Log, and Bonfire.
All ages welcome!
Saturday, December 24, 2022, at 5:00 pm: “Christmas Eve Service,” led by Rev. Laura Horton-Ludwig, Minister
All are welcome for this contemplative service of music and readings celebrating the Christmas story. Online participants, please have a candle or chalice to light nearby if you can!
Sunday, December 25, 2022: “Christmas Day Service”
A group of UU ministers and musicians from across the country have prepared a festive and reflective Christmas Day service for you to stream any time. Rev. Kristin Grassel Schmidt, of the UU Church of Silver Spring, MD, will give the homily. Stream the service here.
