Worship Calendar

Sunday, October 6, at 10:00 am: “Celebrating St. Francis of Assisi and Our Animals,” Rev. Michelle Collins, Interim Minister

Join us for an animal blessing service. Bring your pets for a blessing and let them bark (or what-not) along with our singing today.

Sunday, October 13, at 10:00 am: “Who Do You Think You Are?” Leslie Fabian, Guest Worship Leader

Many of us are still carrying harmful early-life messages, decades after we first heard and absorbed them. What we tell ourselves in our “self-talk” may be damaging to our lives and preventing us from being who we truly are. Who are you pretending not to be? Trigger warning: suicide may be mentioned.

Sunday, October 20, at 10:00 am: “Deep Listening & Deep Hearing,” Rev. Michelle Collins, Interim Minister

What does it mean to listen to someone else, to really listen to them? What does it take to hear them, to really hear them? In a world filled with noise and distractions, sometimes it takes remembering and focusing on listening and being there for one another, hearing what they might really be saying under so often said, “I’m fine.” We’ll explore these today.

Sunday, October 27, at 10:00 am: “Reformation Day Festival,” Rev. Michelle Collins, Interim Minister & Austen Petersen, Director of Religious Education

Join us for an interactive service as we celebrate the gumption of Martin Luther and his instigation of a huge shift towards inquiry and inclusion.
