“So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that s/he had done in creation.” (Genesis 2:3) In Jewish tradition, the Divine commands the people to rest. In our modern society, there is a push to always be busy, connected, tuned in. Maybe more than ever, the sacred call to rest is needed.
