“How We Are Connected – Covenants and Community” by Annette Marquis, UUA District Executive
Annette came to our district in 2006. She has been an active lay leader within Unitarian Universalism for fifteen years. She serves as the facilitator of the UU Allies for Racial Equality, and as a JUUST Change congregational consultant and a Beyond Categorical Thinking trainer for the UUA. As a volunteer for the UU Trauma Response Ministry, Annette provided disaster relief to victims of Hurricane Katrina as well as to the Knoxville UU congregations.
