Many Thanks & Auction Total Raised Update

Wow! We made it to the finish line! I am so very impressed by the willingness of those who felt “computer challenged” to try and learn a new style of having an auction! I appreciated your questions for help, and was proud of those of you who wrote back to me to say “I did it!” We are a resilient and “take a risk” group of UUs and for that I am grateful. This auction would not have been so successful without the help of many people. I would like to especially thank Angela Surber for working with me on crafting the website, and for keeping me calm when I felt unsure of my own abilities. Our Auction Information Table team was extremely reassuring and helpful to our members needing answers to a multitude of questions! Many thanks to Leslie Fabian for stepping up to lead our Auction celebration team, and for the well executed joyful celebration this past Sunday. Special kudos to Lesa Craig for her decorating skills and spearheading our 50/50 raffle and sale of our never ending supply of wine glasses! Martha Elim won our 50/50 raffle and promptly donated her part of the proceeds back to the Auction! Thank you Martha! One last detail. If you have not settled up on your Auction invoice, please do so ASAP. If you didn’t get an invoice from Auctria, please check your spam folder, or you can email me at: auction@wuu.org. You can get back on the site, auctria.events/WUUFall2022, and pay your bill (look for the shopping cart in the top right corner of the screen, and click on it). You may also drop by the office and give a check to Felicity, but make sure you note on the check that it is towards your Auction invoice. Now, for the most exciting announcement: WE WILL REACH OUR $20,000 goal as soon as all invoices are paid! WE DID IT!!!!!!! The proceeds of this Auction will be applied to our Operating Budget for the 23-24 fiscal year. Your generosity is what helps us to keep the lights on, and the message out there. Thank you again for your patience and willingness to learn a new skill.
