Pre-Register Today for In-Person Worship!

Beginning this Sunday, Nov. 7, WUU will offer one worship service at 10 a.m. in person in the Sanctuary and available online via Zoom, YouTube, audio stream, and podcast.

We can now accommodate up to 100 people in person each Sunday with physically distanced seating in the Sanctuary and Gathering Hall. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all, we ask that you please preregister today to come in person: https://rsvp.church/r/qnzGLbnX

Starting next week, each Tuesday, you’ll receive an email with a link to reserve in-person seating for the upcoming Sunday. You can also find the link on our website and in the weekly Spiral email on Thursdays. Signups will be first-come, first-served and will be open until 8:30 a.m. each Sunday. The Reopening Task Force will evaluate how the pre-registrations are working in about a month and make any adjustments at that time.

When you arrive for worship, please come to the main doors, where you’ll be checked in by hospitality volunteers. If for any reason you’re unable to preregister, you are welcome to come anyway. You’ll be greeted and asked to wait outside for a bit to make sure there are enough seats to accommodate you.

You can also continue to participate online via Zoom, YouTube, audio stream, or podcast. See our Online Hub for more information.

A few reminders:

  • In-person participation is limited to those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

For now, children’s religious education classes and activities will continue online on Sunday mornings, and in person at other times. We can’t wait until younger kids are vaccinated, may it be soon! In the meantime, to see the most up to date information on offerings for children and youth, please check out the religious education calendar.

  • If you have any symptoms or have recently tested positive for Covid-19, or have been in recent close contact with anyone with suspected or confirmed Covid-19, please stay home and enjoy the service online.
  • Seating for worship will be distanced, with six feet between each household. Please practice social distancing during social times as well.
  • Well-fitting masks are required for everyone inside the building. No food or drink is permitted inside, with the exception of quick sips of water.

For those who are hard of hearing, you can sign up to request weekly emails with full text of most worship services, sent to you a day or two before the service. Contact office@wuu.org to sign up.

The Reopening Task Force will continue to review and modify these safety guidelines periodically as conditions change. If you have any questions, please contact the Reopening Task Force at reopening@wuu.org. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
