It is time for Water Communion again. Is there something extraordinary about the reunion we celebrate with this symbol-laden ritual at the beginning of each new church year? Something deeper than the simple pleasure of seeing good friends again after the scatterings of summer? Indeed there is. Don’t forget to bring your vial of water to contribute to our well, from wherever you may have been this summer. If you’re a newcomer, don’t miss the warmth of this rite of renewal.
