Reverend Preston Moore, “That ‘Versus’ Between the Individual and the Community”

That IS how it gets characterized quite often, isn’t it? “The interests of the individual versus the interests of the community.” Like an endless tug of war. Is this really an apt description of this fundamental relationship in human living? Is an uneasy truce as good as it can get?
