“Black Voices in Unitarian Universalism”
This special service presents voices that are too often marginalized, particularly Black voices. The readings, prayer, and songs come from the heart and mind of a person whose identity and lived experience are rooted in perspectives often overlooked or undervalued in broader culture, including in Unitarian Universalism. This service invites us to honor and reflect on these contributions with reverence and gratitude.
The Annual Charter Ceremony, celebrating the anniversary of WUU’s founding, and New Member Recognition, introducing the newest members of the WUU community, will round out this busy Sunday. A cake reception follows the service.
